FilmVault's validation software checks the package against the DCI specification — CPL, ASSETMAP and PKL hashes verified asset by asset, reel structure, frame rates, audio channels. Not a filename inspection.
A report you keep
Every finding in plain sentences, as a PDF you can send to whoever made the package. It stays on your account after the files are gone.
Your DCP is deleted in 12 hours
Validation doesn't include storage, so we hold the package only long enough to check it — and long enough that putting it on a Vault afterwards doesn't mean uploading it twice.
