What people ask about delivering a DCP
Do I need a subscription to deliver one DCP?
No. Single Festival Delivery is $19 per film, with 30 days of hosting. Keeping a film online all year is a Vault, from $96 a year.
Does the recipient need a FilmVault account?
Not for a download link — anyone holding the link can download the files you shared. Delivering into a festival's inbox needs the festival to have an account, and festival accounts are free to receive.
Can I take access back after delivery?
Yes. Revoke a link and it stops working immediately. Anything already downloaded stays downloaded — which is what encryption and per-cinema KDMs are for.
Is the DCP checked before it's delivered?
Yes. Every DCP stored on FilmVault has been through FilmVault Validation, so what you send has already been checked against the DCI specification.
